Last week was a blur. I celebrated another year on this planet, and in doing so took two additional days off work. It is rare that I spend two days in one week not being productive at all. Here is a look at some of my annual celebrations.
We spent a day boating with the dogs. It was their first adventure out on the water for any length of time, I think we were out there for 3+ hours. It was supposed to burn off…but it never did. We beached the boat so they could run around on land for a bit. I think they liked it for the most part. They don’t like it when its rough, enjoy bird watching, and they slept real good when we got home. Plus the Rough Wear life jackets I got for them are amazing! They kept them warm, are very visible and super easy to grab.
I decided to go blond on my birthday. It seems I am almost always ready for a big change when it comes to my hair. I haven’t been blond in many years, and since it is my natural color, it seemed like a good day to go back.
We had dinner at El Camino cantina for my Birthday. It is bright red, and funky inside. They have amazing cocktails, and creative locally inspired mexican cuisine.
The dogs joined us (in the car) for dinner, so we took them for a little walk afterward. The first two shots, is them running towards me. They did not stop, but in fact took me down like a clothes line. It happened so fast. I didn’t get hurt, so it was actually quiet funny.
Aside from that the rest of the week was spent working working working, with a healthy dose of house cleaning thrown in. We are fully into the swing of summer and it is getting busy! I felt like I could barely catch my breathe last week, let alone update the blog.
