It has been a super long time since I posted a self portrait, especially since I embarked and quit a 52 week self portrait project this year. I anticipated picking up the project, but realized I was putting unnecessary stress on myself. Catching up on all those missed weeks, seemed silly, and once I got over ‘failing’, it was easy enough to let go. I am ok with the fact that I can’t necessarily complete a project. I will work on that, and I will take life in stride. It is busy, and the plate is full.
So here is a self portrait, taken at the non-active naval base in Brunswick. A place I often take the dogs, and my camera. It is full of hidden gems, and great places for them to wander.
