52/15: Lost At Sea

It seems that you must be lost, in order to be found.

I have found that lately I have been lost in the middle of  the winter woes. Too cold to shoot outside, and not enough sunlight to it keep me smiling.

I decided it was time to kick the seasonal creative funk.  I loaded the dogs (since they have a good case of cabin fever as well) and headed to Wolf’s Neck state park for a photo adventure. After a short walk, I had to put them safetly in the car, so I could venture onto the crust for a very brief moment. It was incredibly cold, but it was also magnificent. Rugged and peaceful.

Such a huge contrast to the warm sunny days of summer. Both amazing,  just very different.

So just like that my adventure reminded me why I love these chilly days, when the earth if frozen below our feet. Looking forward to more snowy adventures in the beautiful North East.

I know that when the summer rolls around, I will appreciate it just a little more.
