Sometimes its more appropriate to close your computer and curl up on the couch, than check your email, update your blog and interact on Facebook. This week has been that way for me. Last week ended pretty awesome, like a post wouldn’t do it justice. This week was back to work, in a hard core way. We are doing crazy summer business. Our sales are up significantly from last summer, which is amazing, but leaves little time to lift your head up and watch the world go by. I am also preparing for 4 large all day events I am catering next week. After executing my final event it will be off to the airport, Cali bound at last. It has been way to long! And I will earn it. In the mean time, when I get home from work, I will be most likely hanging with my dogs and man. This guy has been practically protesting the use of my computer! So I’m gonna give him as much attention as possible.
I skipped the ‘Week in Snaps’ this week, but here are some highlights from last weekends epic adventures…
I attended a wedding on a Peaks island as my friend Zeke’s date, and we had a blast. It was a perfect day in the most beautiful location. I am constantly amazed by the beauty of coastal Maine. The next day I jumped on a train for Boston to see JT + Jay-Z with Rachel. Friends old and new, girl time, sunshine, laughter, and oh so much dancing. Filled my reservoirs with fun. I missed the man, but balance is important, and the longer we are together the more I realize that time apart is just as important as time together. The old adage ‘Separation makes the heart grow fonder’ stands true, as I returned with so much appreciation for this man who allows me to be me and have fun even when he’s not standing directly next to me..
